Mutated Moth

I Am One With Frickin Nature
I went on another hike today (3hrs) I went to Kenna Cartwright Park. Awesome trails and lots of different ones.Well marked, porta potties, and cell service. Anyhow Athena and I were Hiking along and BAM... There was a deer in the middle of our path. I grabbed Athena, already had my camera in hand and took some shots(photos that is not shotgun) The deer wasn't even scared. He sauntered off the path and just stood off to the side and stared at us. It was pretty cool shit. I have never seen a deer that close in real life. Also a super cute photo of Athena in a yellow flower field. Click on the thumbnails to enlarge. Enjoy my nature shots. It was the best hike yet. I was starting to think I would only have porta potty shots to post.

Hiking Mara Mountain
Athena (my dog) and I hiked Mara mountain today. The first part was a long steep climb up. Was supposed to be a 5 hr hike but we shortened it to two. It was very hot out and no shade. I think we'll tackle it again in the fall. Found some animal tracks as well. Not sure what kind... for all I know it could just be old dog tracks. Here are some pics of the hike.

Bikers and Ball
HAD a great weekend. My honey and I went on the Kamloops HOG Chapter Charity Poker run on Sat. Weather was great for the ride. Lots of food and booze. Even dipped into the shine. Glad to be home though. The ass was sure getting sore (7 hr ride) Sunday I played softball in the RAIN!! Sucked but its still better to lose playing than by forfeiting!! Anyhow thats all for now.
